We've Got Lots To Catch Up On...

My mommy has been really bad at keeping up with my blog. Don't be too hard on her though- I keep her super busy and she loves spending all of her time with me. I know it has been a couple of months since you have heard what is going on with me- so here are a few highlights. At my 6 month check up I was 27 inches and 18 pounds and a couple of days later my 2 bottom teeth poked through. About a week after that I decided it was time for me to sit up on my own and although I kept falling over a lot- I've finally got the hang of it. I'm not crawling- but I have discovered if I want to get somewhere all I have to do is roll. I roll across the room sometimes and it is funny to watch mommy chase after me. The last thing that I love to do- and I have been doing it a lot lately- is to wave to people. My mommy asks me to do it all of the time- so I do- I don't know what the big deal is but the people around me think that it is cute or something. Olivia got her first taste of rice cereal last week. Don't let the pictures fool you- she didn't really like it. She still doesn't- which surprises me because I thought she was going to be a baby who would eat anything.

Landon Ryan Gafner finally decided to come into this world on March 22, 2010. He is so cute and it is going to be so much fun to have him and Olivia so close in age- exactly 4 months apart. Olivia looks even bigger now compared to him!

4 Months Old!

So I realize that I have not updated this in quite some time- blame it on computer problems. Olivia is now 4 months old and in some ways she still seems so tiny- but it is hard to believe how big she really is getting. She is still a happy little girl and such a good baby. She had her 4 month check-up today and she now weighs 15 lbs. (75th percentile) and is 26 inches long (95th percentile). She is definitely growing and I see changes in her everyday. Recently she decided that her new favorite thing is to roll from her back to her tummy- and she won't stop. Gone are the days where I felt comfortable leaving the room for a couple of minutes while she played on her back- because she definitely won't stay there anymore. It is fun though- watching her develop new "tricks" and watching her expression when she discovers something new. I posted a bunch of pictures from the past couple of months- I probably could have posted tons more- but I narrowed it down to these.

4 Months old!

Happy Little Girl

I've been pretty lucky with how good of a baby Olivia is. She is growing more and more each day and with that she is smiling and cooing more too. She seems to be one happy little girl. I love that with each day that passes she is able to stay awake longer and longer. She loves her activity mat- mostly the mirror so she can look at herself. She is such a cuddle bug that it is hard for me to put her down and she doesn't want to be put down. She had her 2 month check-up a couple of weeks ago and she weighed in at 10 lb. 8 oz. (50th percentile) and was 24 in. (90th percentile!). From the looks of it she may be one tall little girl!

Already 2 Months Old!!

I can't believe my little peanut is already 2 months old!! Time is just flying by and she is changing so much- she is definitely starting to develop her own little personality- sweet but at times she can be sassy! Today I put her on her stomach to do some tummy time and she rolled over onto her back! It wasn't a fluke either because I put her on her tummy again and she rolled over again. I couldn't believe it- she is getting so big!
